Scary Lion's director Paul Henley, left the BBC where he'd worked as a multi-skilled senior broadcast journalist. It now produces Internet video and specialises in web-based production from its Watford studio.

Paul began his career as a professional actor, working at the National Theatre, where he founded 'The National Theatre Youth Theatre', and wrote and directed two musical productions which were performed in the Cottesloe Theatre. He went on to appear in a variety of television dramas and series, culminating in hosting a children's teenage magazine programme. CBTV.

On leaving Thames Television Paul moved behind the camera when he was offered a post with Television New Zealand directing a weekly topical news programme.

On completion of his contract in NZ, SSVC hired Paul to make a series of magazine programmes for the British Army of the Rhine in Germany.

Paul now shoots and edits programmes independently, broadcast, corporate training films and Internet Production. He has a sound understanding of film making and his background in theatre and television as a reporter, presenter and director has provided him with the skills to research, script, shoot and post produce a wide range of productions.
